Please don't be put off by the fact that this is a 9 hole golf course. It has to be one of the most challenging golf experiences in the whole of Wales. Situated in a valley between Cardiff and Caerphilly you would have no idea that over the top of the hill is the Welsh Capital. Most of the holes are relatively short but rest assured every hole has to be played as 'target' golf otherwise your score and your ball will be lost. Whilst there are many other Cardiff Golf Courses you will certainly remember this one as an experience. They have a nice little driving range and a club house and even considering the bad weather we had, the course was in good condition and the greens seemed to have drained well. If you only want a quick 9 holes whilst looking for short golf breaks or a really challenging 18, then the Ridgeway should be on your list of golf courses in Wales.
