Apparently this Cardiff Golf club was voted the Best Inland Golf Course in Wales in 2008 and after playing there I can understand why. This members only club is situated in te North of Cardiff and boasts a very exclusive club house which matched a really good quality course. They appear to take the condition of the course extremely seriously as there were plenty staked areas and GUR notices as we were going round. The greens especially were in great condition although a little quick for me. The club house was simply lovely and had a really warm and welcoming atmosphere, it appears to be a club with a great tradition and an exlclusive Welsh membership. Not really one for your luxury golf holidays or a golf weekend breaks but if you know a member then it is worth asking him to take you around.

Whitchurch (Cardiff) Golf Club is well manicured parkland course that tests all parts of a golfers armoury. Fairways in pristine condition and fast but generous greens provide a stern bur fair challenge. There is a great variety of holes over both front and back nine with three classic par 3’s; 1st, 13th and 15th. The closing hole is a great test and a risk reward tee shot which can bring into play the pond at 240 yards. All in all a lovely golf course in good condition.
