Cottrell Park Course Reviews

I played the Mackintosh course as part of a luxury golf holiday in South Wales. On the outskirts of Cardiff, Cotterill park is easy to get to and is set in beautiful countryside. A challenging golf course with a varied number of holes, the Mackintosh course is a worthwhile course to play on your welsh golf break. At 6313 yards, you certainly will deserve the reward at the 19th hole.

We played the old course with a few friends last year, during the Welsh monsoon season (summer), which meant a few of the holes were a little water logged. It’s a great course however and as the day brightened the wide fairways were enjoyed by every one in the group and made the golf weekend. As one of the golf courses in wales that was suggested to me, I found the whole afternoon very agreeable. The location is not far from Cardiff on the main road west, A48, and the facilities we terrific. The club house and food was ideal and we spent most of the evening have a drink on the patio.
