Cardiff Bay has been developed into one of the most important parts of the city hosting the Senedd(Welsh Parliament), along with the Millennium Centre - a major theatre which has had many major shows. Down at Cardiff Bay is Mermaid Quay, with a range of restaurants to whet your appetite.
